The LTV-series continuous liquid level sensors are available in a wide range of sizes ranging from 2 in to 32 in long in increments of 2 in. These liquid level sensors use our standard float reed switches in an arrangement to provide 0-190 Ohms variable resistance depending on the location of the float, allowing for continuous liquid level detection (5mm accuracy). This signal can be used as an input to a microprocessor or PLC for further processing and control. The LTV units come standard with a stainless steel guide and a large stainless steel float for improved performance in low density fluids but can be retrofitted with a buna float if needed for use in lower density fluids such as fuels. These sensors are designed for flange mounting with an integrated M12 4-pin micro connector.
